Chances are your remote head just needs a 6V 6W sealed beam halogen emergency light bulb.

You or the prior owner likely chose waterproof remote heads outside connected to a normal indoor emergency light or exit sign battery unit. This is often a smarter choice than buying an expensive oudoor battery unit, especially when you don't need much light.
